Mappr - Fake GPS Location is an Android app developed and operated by an individual developer.
This Privacy Policy describes Our policies and procedures on the collection, use and disclosure of Your information when You use the Service and tells You about Your privacy rights and how the law protects You.
Mappr uses location-related information because location is central to how the app works.
Depending on how you use the app, Mappr may process:
Mappr does not require you to create an account, and I do not ask you to submit your name, postal address, or phone number to use the app.
We do not collect or store your location data on any external servers. Location data is only processed locally on your device or sent transiently to third-party providers upon your request to provide core functionalities (like calculating a route or translating coordinates into an address).
If you grant location permissions, the app uses this data strictly to provide contextual map features, and your simulated locations remain safely on your device.
The app may process information you actively enter or select, including:
To optimize your experience without utilizing external servers, the app stores essential preferences and historical data directly on your device. This may include:
Mappr uses Google and Firebase tools that may automatically collect app-use and error information. This may include:
Examples include Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, and Firebase Remote Config.
Mappr uses Google services for ads, privacy consent choices, and subscriptions.
These services may process information such as:
Where required, Mappr asks for ad-related consent before showing personalized ads. Subscription purchases are processed by Google Play, not directly by Mappr.
I use information to:
Because Mappr is a map-based app, location use is central to the service.
Based on the current app implementation, the following may be stored locally on your device until deleted or reset:
To provide search, address lookup, or route calculation, Mappr may send queries and coordinates to third-party mapping providers, including Google-based geocoder services and Mapbox.
These temporary data points are used exclusively to return the requested navigational paths, address lookups, and distances.
Mappr relies on third-party services for parts of the app. Those providers handle information under their own privacy policies.

Mapbox may process user-initiated search queries, temporary coordinates, and basic technical data needed to provide routing and geographic functionalities.
I encourage you to review each third party's privacy policy before using features that rely on that provider.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with similar requirements, I rely on one or more of the following legal bases:
You may withdraw permission-based processing at any time by changing your device settings or applicable consent settings, although some features may stop working as intended.
I do not sell your personal information for money.

For users in California or similar jurisdictions, some advertising or analytics-related SDK processing may be treated as "sharing" under applicable law, depending on how those laws apply to mobile identifiers and ad-tech processing. Where required, I rely on Google's consent and privacy controls and will honor applicable legal obligations.
Information is kept only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
Favorites, route history, app settings, premium cache state, and similar on-device records remain on your device until:
Crash reports, analytics records, ad-related data, consent records, billing information, and infrastructure logs may be retained by the relevant third-party provider according to that provider's retention schedule and privacy policy.
Queries and coordinates sent to geocoding, search, or routing providers may be processed transiently and may also be logged by those providers under their own policies.

Some service providers may process information on servers located outside your country of residence. By using Mappr, you understand that information may be transferred to and processed in countries that may have different data protection laws than your own.
